Reading a Meg Cabot book is like sinking into a good bubble bath: cozy, bubbly, frothy, iridescent. It doesn't last long and doesn't leave you with much aside from a warm feeling and a general sense of well-being, but you really enjoyed your time immersed in the sudsy goodness.
(Unless you're reading Meg's Abandon series. In which case, not so much. But that's a review for another time.)
